Political crisis of the All Progressive Congress (APC) party, Nigeria

The President full support for the dissolution of (APC) National Working Committee is generating ripples among party chieftain in Ondo State.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) have been swimming in crisis in the last four. The crisis rocking the party is yet to quell as President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday approves the dissolution of the Party National Working Committee (NWC) of the Party. In a meeting held yesterday at the State in Abuja which was attended by many top men of the party across the country with the exception of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

The meeting which was conveyed at the State House, Abuja by the have it Victor Gaidom the acting National Chairman of the Party in attendance. After a much deliberation, Victor Gaidom was approved as the substantive Chairman of the Party and will be steering the ship of the party for the nest possible years. The approval of Victor Gaidom as the acting National Chairman of the Party and dissolution of the National Working Committee have caused panic among the party faithful.

The on going saga that produced Rivers man, Victor Gaidom have not gone down well with some of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State. An Aspirant who choose to be anonymous condemned the Gaidom emergence and worried there wont be level play ground for any All Progressive Congress (APC) aspirant in the Ondo State Party Primaries. The lament the situation has given the incumbent Governor Rotimi Akeredolu a marching order to silent fellow Aspirant that will be contesting the primaries against him.

Governor Akeredolu will be contesting Party primaries against fellow aspirants. The governor is seeking re-election for term in office as the Governor of the State under the All Progressive Congress (APC) Party. The primaries will feature many faces of Aspiring politician in the State. And aspiring Politician feels the dissolution of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Party by President Muhammadu Buhari have tipped the scale to favour the incumbent Governor of the State.

Meanwhile, Isaac Kekemeke the founding Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) party in the State lamented over an unconstitutional attempt to remove embattled Deputy Governor of the State from office as the Deputy Governor decamped to the major opposition Party in the State. He stated the possible and outlined way a lawmaker of the party can be removed as stated in the party constitution. He however said

the party constitution fails to spell how a Deputy Governor or Governor elected on the party platform could be removed.

The Deputy Governor of the State is battling to save his seat as the Deputy Governor of the State. After he defected to the opposition Party on Sunday, he reiterated never to resign as the Deputy Governor. Yesterday he lamented that the Lawmakers of the State are working to impeach him from office as the a Deputy Governor of the State. He alleged that the lawmakers have taken inducement cash up to N10 Million Naira from Governor to commence impeachment process against him.
