Accounting software in business

It is important to think and put in place an accounting software adapted to the activity of the company even if the company only offers services to their clients. This approach will allow the company to better track transactions and therefore the payment of bills, so it is a saving of time they will have to devote to other tasks. The proper management of this dysfunction aims to improve the operation of the company in its accounting and contributes to the sustainability of the company. The stakes of this approach:

• Have the most adapted accounting software

• Follow the transactions

• Avoid mistakes that we can do on word

• Avoid doubles invoices

• The payment will be quicker because we can do the payment revival more often

• The accountant can follow the transaction easier because the accountant software will be link to the accountant expert that works for them.

• Rebalance the company’s accounts (because in 2017 they have less benefice compare to the earnings of them in 2016)

The CEO of the company really understand the necessity of an account software to be more performant and follow better their clients (customers). The main target of this process that i want them to adopt is to avoid mistakes and be more professional and use less paper. After the set-up of this process cited above, we will find a big improvement in the following of the invoices, quotation, this will promote more profit and will avoid mistakes. What’s make difference is this sector and between the companies in a market more competitive is the quality of their services.  And with this system the companies can acquired a competitive advantage.

For the choice of the accounting software that the company will use, I did some research and studies in 5 steps in total. (Annexes:  resultat evenements /process) The first step is:  identify the type of software suited to the size of the company. To identify the adapted accounting software for the company Multisol I had to research the different categories of Accounting software and we have 3 in this case.

• Accounting software adapted to VSEs: it is suitable for small businesses that only manage the bookkeeping. They can also concern companies that use a chartered accountant. This software is very standardized and widely used on the market. They can sometimes make quotes and invoices.

• Accounting software adapted to SMEs: they make it possible to manage all accounting in-house.

They integrate the management of VAT returns, the ability to make and send the tax book. This software, rather standardized, allow the company to manage the entire accounting process, from holding to the establishment of annual accounts;

• Accounting software adapted to large companies: these are software that require special developments. They cover specific needs that depend on the organization of the company itself, its activity, etc. Built “made to measure”, it integrates into a complex and personalized IT infrastructure.

In the case of micro-enterprises, they benefit from very significant relief and are, in particular, exempted from keeping accounts. The micro-entrepreneur may, at least, use billing software and possibly an accounting software ultra-simplified for use as a management software. It is therefore to consider it as a steering tool because it is not mandatory.
